I'm not positive what you mean by stone. Home improvement stores carry stone look kits, ussually in the building supply area. Which is basically pre cut varies size and shape stones that are flat on one side and you mortar them to the wall. They look like something like the exterior of a stone home or on a stone fireplace but can be used inside as well. They also make a similar product but with brick. This will be time consuming but easier to do yourself than tiles, mostly because mistakes are easier to hide.
You can often see tile backsplashes which can have a natural stone look to them. These will mostly be square and come in a variety of colors and sizes. Typically these can be found in a flooring department but higher end kitchen remodeling stores will carry them for backsplashes. Most anything that can be used on the floor can be used on the wall. I've never seen an entire wall done with tile except in a shower, but I like the idea. You could do cool borders with smaller tiles in a complimenting color. If it's done well, I bet it will look really neat.
If you've never tiled before I would practice first before you do this yourself. Tiling is labor intensive and time consuming. And pick up a good DIY book on tiling. There are several steps to this and plenty of things to think about for a project like this to come out looking good. I personally wouldn't attempt to tile a floor or wall myself, but then again, my dad does it for a living, so I get it pretty cheap.

EDIT: If you are worried about cleaning them, get a clear sealer to put over them. Gloss or semi-gloss would work best, but anything that will "seal" the stone and prevent grease and dirt from soaking in would help. Most sealers that can be used on pavers or fireplaces should be safe to use on a stone wall, just make sure it says interior/exterior on the can. A good one won't yellow over time. The downside is it will probably need to be reapplied periodically. Depending on it's quality, I'd guess every 5 years, maybe longer.

The engagement photos I think are a good idea, its awesome to go get some pProfessionalshots done with the both of you wearing your regular day clothes. Go get pics taken in places like the park (maybe one you spend a lot of time in) or around the house? And if you have pets, include them, these pictures are the ones your most likely going to cherish, your wedding photos are great, but your all fancied up and it doenst really speak to who you both are as iindividualsand as a couple, rather the wedding photos speak to the event, whereas the engagement photos are going to show who the both of you are, I think there a great idea!

diamond peels will take off the top layer of your face, leaving it exfoliated and way smoother. BUT this is not permanent, as new cells get pushed up everyday, and they will die, and you have to exfoliate again to take them off. you don't really need diamond peel, bec you can just get a good facial scrub and use that around 2x a week if you have normal skin. more if your skin is oily and less if it is sensitive
if you want a lighter complexion, its not really possible to do it without applying any products. if you smoke, however, stop that and you'll get better skin. also be careful of what you eat. healthy food = healthy skin, but not lighter. will you consider sunblock at least to minimize tanning from the sun? there are whitening sunblocks in the market such as Nivea. i use that to get ligher skin and to prevent darkening at the same time.
and.. there are pills to get lighter skin. you dont apply it on your face, but you drink them. glutatione and metathione are some examples
