That would be easily a $10,000-$20,000 ring. If your fiance does not have the kind of job or financial circumstances that would allow him to purchase a ring in that price range, people will know it's fake. If you don't care what they think, then by all means, go for it. But it sounds like you DO care. I think you would be better off spending the money on a much smaller, good quality diamond, and then upgrading when you can afford it.
