It all depends on the overall style of the piece..I collect and I don’t box myself in as far as a particular style…..or gemstone.
My engagement ring is a two stone bypass (his birthstone and mine( accented by a swirl of seven round diamonds…not exactly a ‘traditional’ engagement ring but one that holds more meaning than a single diamond would.
A solitaire in my book. Reason being is that it is a beginning. The 3-stone thing is more for an anniversary representing past, present and future. You could always go solitaire and then move the stone from the engagement ring to a 3-stone setting for a 5 or 10 year anniversary.
Personally I prefer the look of a solitare engagement ring. Diamonds are not really important to me though. I’m not very materialistic and they are very overpriced. My engagement ring is a realistic looking cz. I’d rather use the money that would have been spent on diamonds on a down payment on a car or home.
Solitare for the engagement ring. A three stone ring I thought was an anniversary ring that meant there was a stone for the past, one for the present and one for the future. That is what I thought those rings were? Maybe I am wrong with that, but I love the solitare. Classy and you can add any kind of band.
Funny, I always thought I would want a solitaire, til I tried some on – just didn’t look right. I don’t like the look of three-stone when they are the same size diamonds.
What my husband chose, and actually what I think looks prettiest, is having a solitaire with shoulder stones, a smaller stone on each side of the centre diamond. My wedding band has three of the smaller stones, and they look so pretty together.

Solitaire. I am very traditional and I like to be able to look at someone’s ring and be able to tell if they are engaged, married or married for 20 yrs.
My engagement ring was a solitaire. The wedding was a simple band. For milestone anniversaries we will add to it.
I’m partial to a 3 stone now. I always thought I was a solitaire girl, but my FH proposed with a 3 stone, 2 tone engagement ring, and I absolutely LOVE it. (He picked it out himself w/ no input from me and did amazingly good.) My only issue with it is that it has these little “swirly” things on it and the band is going to have to be custom made. (FH is kicking himself over this…didn’t think of that…lol.)
I prefer a ring with a main center stone and multiple small stones on the sides. I guess it would be more like a solitaire than 3-stone but not just a plain ‘ol single rock hanging out there.
Something more along the lines of this style – - http://www.kay.com/webapp/wcs/stores/ser…
Personally, I would choose a solitaire for an engagement ring. I do also like 3 stone rings. My Husband bought me one for our first wedding anniversary, which I wear on the middle finger of my right hand. Have a look at the selection on http://www.russ4gold.com for some great deals on rings. Good Luck !
I prefer a solitaire but not too large as I have small hands so anything over one carat would look ridiculous. My engagement ring that my husband got me was .5 carat diamond and it’s gorgeous and is of great quality.
3 stone. Mine is a 3 stone and I’m happy with it. I tried on a solitaire and I thought it looked gaudy on my hand. Although, the plus side to solitaires is that you can enhance them, but it’ll cost extra.
If you get a solitaire, you have much more options for wedding bands! I personally don’t like the 3 stone. I do like a solitaire with accents. Very sparkly!
I like the solitaires, but with little diamonds going down the band. I don’t prefer just a big old solitaire on the ring. the 3-stone rings are pretty, but I don’t think for an engagement ring.
Solitaire. But if we couldn’t afford a decent one, then I’d go for a different stone — probably aquamarine, but distinct and bold — probably a round cut. Or… I’d go for an antique style ring.
I’m more traditional so I prefer the solitaire. I think the 3 stone takes away from the ring and is more of an anniversary thing. On a solitaire, the diamond really sticks out
My fiancee gave me a three-stone ring and told me the stones represented our past, present, and future together. It was so sweet!! Some guys wouldn’t take the time to find that out. I love my ring!
I actually like both a lot. I don’t really have a preference, I’ll be happy with either. I’m not big on yellow gold though, so that’s really a bigger turn off than the type of ring.
I Always liked the 3 stone..but lately iv been really looking at the Solitaire and it just looks so beautiful specially the round cut…is simple and elegant..
depends on the quality honestly… i like solitaires but it is kind of hard to find really good quality large diamonds, but with 3 stones you can get smaller stones.
I like solitaires, too. That way, you can invest your money in one high- quality diamond. They have a classic look that will never go out of style.
I like solitaires and also a solitaire with a couple diamonds on the band.
Id be ok with a large solitaire because I have fat fingers. I dont particularly care for either style, truthfully. I really like pear cuts in chevron ro split shanks
I prefer solitare for engagement ring…three stone for wedding ring….
I always thought I wanted a three stone but when I got my solitaire I absolutely love it!
I’ve always loved solitaire rings but when my fiance proposed with a three stone it was love at first sight!! I love my ring!!
Solitaire. It’s simple and classic. Plus, my stone is so pretty that I wouldn’t want to crowd anything around it.
Solitaire, absolutely.
I love my solitaire ring, never was a fan of the 3 stone diamond, I like simple!
Solitaire. It’s a clasisc look
Honestly, I never liked 3 stone rings.

You don’t know Boolean Logic? No Worries! Play bOOleO and you will learn it. Maybe even master it. yes, healthy soups are filling and nutritious. they can help you lose weight. stay away from the ones that are high in sodium. Weight Watchers recommends Progresso or I have included a site with recipes. creamy soups are definitely a no-no.
they have a few (note: few) different pokemon, including the star legendary which is the one you see on the cover.
however, most would recommend you get pokemon platinum. its the slight differences in those versions combined plus with an extra world which is kind of cool.
precisely my kind of thing. Had it continued i wouldn't be 3stone overweight now! lol

“There are two primary components to Facebook fan page engagement: 1) Sharing quality, relevant content and 2) inciting comments. In this article I’ll tell you how to best engage with Facebook fans. Of course, there are many other components of effective Facebook fan pages and Facebook marketing in general. However, for the purposes of this two-part post, we’ll focus on content and comments. The more comments you have, the more viral visibility and free marketing you’ll create. But your fans have to have something to comment on!”
