I ordered this ring and it was here within 3 days. It was very fast shipping and I was happy with the company. I opened the ring and it was very beautiful, but it was alot bigger than it appeared in the pictures. I wore it for about half a day and decided it was just to big for me and that I would knock it to often and that I should return it. If you like bigger rings, this is the ring for you
If you were to stiff brush the intricate part to get anything loose off or out, that would be sufficient for finishing..Use Clear Sanding Sealer as a finish, not polyurethane–which is why everything done recently looks odd, and everything old looks nice and glows. Two coats, fine sand, third coat done.
Between 34 and 36 she changed very much. Even her eyes did ! I wonder what happened.
E-retailer Spartoo.com announced that it raised €12M ($17M) in a Series B round. Highland Capital Partners and Endeavour Vision led funding, while existing investors A Plus Finance and CM-CIC Capital Privé joined as well. The deal was managed by Clipperton Finance. Founded in 2006, Spartoo has experienced tremendous growth selling shoes online. Some analyst have compared the startup to U.S. based firm Zappos, which made news last year, after being acquired for $1.2B (€832M) by Amazon. Such a comparison implies that perhaps Spartoo will have a similar exit. Well, it’s possible but not as straightforward as Zappos.com’s growth in the U.S. Since inception Spartoo has maintained a fairly vertical offering of shoes. Like most European firms its growth strategy is intricate because the European market is smaller and more fragmented, relative to the U.S. Because of this Spartoo has been very selective about what markets it expands to as well as what order. CEO Boris Saragaglia has aims to…

Until it's cut into gems it's worthless. Diamond's only value is as an abrasive and jewelry. Jewels have no intrinsic value (they're useless) but certain material-obsessed people will pay millions for them. The people who own it will no doubt figure out how to make the most out if it. This will likely involve cutting it into a number of gems.

Engagement parties started decades ago when girls first started going "to the city", etc. or university and met a guy that the neighbours didn't know. The parents threw an engagement party to announce the date of the forthcoming wedding and to introduce the future son in law or daughter in law to friends and relatives. NO GIFTS were given – ever!! In some cultures (Many Italians, for example) at an engagement party, close relatives brought gifts similar to shower gifts because their wedding gifts are mind-boggling (fridges, washers, dryers!!!) Nowadays, some couples are very tacky and they send out invites to an "enagagement party" for themselves. This is the same as throwing your own birthday party!! Even if you "say" you don't want gifts, people feel obligated and this sets up the non-ending chain of cash outlay – this party followed by showers followed by wedding gifts. It is fine if some close pals decide to throw a party to celebrate your engagement but truly it is a bit excessive and tacky unless you are a member of royalty or very high society and you have the party to ensure your photo is in the newspaper or Vanity Fair or some other snooty publication. Save your money. Tell your friends and family and word will get around that you are engaged without any help from you. As for photos, this is a very nice idea. You get a photographer to take a picture of the two of you in a casual setting, like park or beach, in caasual clothes that reflect who you are at this point in time! This photo can be used to put an announcement in your family's local paper if you are well-known in town – and it is nice to have around if family drops by mom or dad so they can "show off" the forthcoming son-in-law, daughter-in-law especially if there's no engagement party or if family lives far away. PLEASE don't throw yourself an engagement party. The only people who will tell you that it's okay are those who feel guilty about throwing one for themselves and the ones who give "thumbs down" are the same people!
There is no "best place." Figure out what you're looking for in a retailer and beware of businesses who claim to be wholesalers. There are a lot of scams in the jewelry market.
Get educated first. Learn about cut, color, clarity, and carat… also certification. Walk away from any retailer who tries to sell you an uncertified diamond. GIA and AGS are the best certification labs with the strictest standards. IGI and EGL are not reputable labs.
If you are looking for quality AND value, I'd avoid all of the mall stores (Kay, Zales, Jared, Robbins, etc). They tend to sell very poor quality, heavily included stones for way too much. Jared does sell some very nice ideal cut stones, but the markup they charge is ridiculous. If you are buying from a storefront, I would highly recommend you seek out a reputable independent jeweler who does all work on site. Look for online reviews of each jeweler you are considering buying from.
Don't fall for buying the "extended warranty" from any retailer. A good jeweler will service any ring they sell free of charge. Also, any warranty is not the same as insurance – a warranty won't replace your ring in case of loss or theft. DO buy insurance for your ring (through your insurer or through Jewelers Mutual or Chubb). It costs me $50 a year to insure my $5000 ring. Totally worth it and my local jeweler does all of my ring services (cleaning, checking prongs, maintenance, and rhodium plating) for free.
If you are willing to buy online, you will absolutely get the best deal and won't have to pay tax. Some online jewelers that I know are extremely reputable and carry top quality diamonds are:
(also great for education, and has the best diamond analysis pictures & videos)
Many people buy from BlueNile – they are one of the least expensive diamond outlets online. BlueNile is a reputable vendor and I know many people are happy with them, but they are what's called a "drop shipper." They have a huge catalog of diamonds, but most of those diamonds are not actually in their possession. Thus, you can see the certification report of each diamond, but you can't actually see a picture of each diamond. I personally could not purchase a diamond when I can't at least see several pictures of it and analysis of light return.
Best of luck to you in your search.

Social media community management brings communities to life. Michael Brito shares three lessons to help you do this right.
Well there's lots of ways to do it. Start by scanning it with a scanner. Then you can use FREEHAND, or illustrator (i'm partial to Freehand) or some other vector application like canvas or Xara and then trace over it using the pen tool. If that's too complicated you can use the Trace tool in Freehand which with some adjustment and testing you can trace it pretty darn accurately. The best is to take the bezier pen tool and just trace. takes time to do it right, but you will find that that's the most accurate and most satisfying way.. Hope this helps.
Yes, they can set a lab created diamond in real gold. Some fake diamonds appear to be real but aren't.
To find out if it's real, take it to a reliable jewelry store and have it appraised.

I told my fiance to save the money and go with 18K white gold over platinum.
We did a lot of research and while the general consensus is that platinum is better, but it isn't THAT much better than 18K white gold (just a little more durable), but there's a huge difference in the price in most cases.
I have a beautiful ring that I love, and as long as it wasn't yellow gold (which I hate the look of), I didn't care what it was.
lol this is too funny
