Rather than spending money on Super Bowl television ads this year, the company is spending $20 million on a social media campaign. Jay Baer, founder of the social media strategy company Convince & Convert, said brands are realizing they need to market for the long haul. “I do think it’s a good move for Pepsi. I don’t know if every brand can pull it off,” he said. The Pepsi Refresh Project and the DEWmocracy campaigns are part of a crowdsourcing effort…

ok so your wedding ring is the ring you get when u are engaged. it belongs on your ring finger [ironic yes?] and that is how u tell it is a wedding ring and not a regular ring. when u actually get married u get the wedding band which goes under the wedding ring. traditionally wedding rings are gold or white gold but realy u can do watever you want.

if you are very careful, you can use steel wool and get a brushed look. it will at least tone it down.
by rubbing the item (light fixture or faucets) very gently in one direction you will get the brushed effect. try it on something inconspicuous first.
i have a hammered brass planter that i want to tone done, so i spray painted it black and after the paint dried i rubbed over it with fine grit sand paper. it changed the look completely and works much better. that may be an option for you as well.
you can always ignore the brass that exist. use what ever you like, bronze or silver…and somehow the metals will blend and work together.
